Marcia Van Voorst retired in the spring 2024 after a 45-year career as a postpartum nurse and scheduler at Sioux Center Health. When making plans to retire from the hospital she was excited to be a part of Bethel's new Stephen Ministries outreach opportunity.

She and her husband, Gerald, joined Bethel CRC in 1983 when they moved to Sioux Center from Hull. They have three children and 11 grandchildren.

In her spare time Marcia enjoys gardening, reading, scrapbooking, crocheting and attending the music and sports events of her grandchildren.
