Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a care-giving ministry that equips Christ-followers to provide Christ-centered care to fellow congregational members going through hard times, including grief, broken relationships, health problems, job loss, life transitions, and much more.

At Bethel, the volunteer Stephen Mentors are matched one-on-one with a person of the same gender. They coordinate weekly meetings for an hour until both the mentor and the care receiver mutually agree it is time to bring the relationship to a close.

Stephen Mentors also meet monthly as a group to receive support and continuing education.
